Autumn has Arrived ....

Good Morning!
Autumn has certainly arrived this week in my garden. We have been greeted with misty mornings each day which has given the garden a touch of sparkle. Today I wanted to share with you some photo's of the cobwebs that have been highlighted by the weather every morning.
Although Spiders aren't high on my favourite's list (I can cope with the smaller ones but the big beasties are still a stuggle!) I can't deny that the webs they make are beautiful.

This particular web had covered the whole gap between the fence and the Greenhouse, not something you'd want to walk into!

All of the gaps in the Leylandii Hedge have been covered with webs ...

I also had an audience whilst I was taking these photographs ...

Thanks for looking!

  1. I do love the spider's webs when they're all covered in dew, Nat, though it amazes me just how they get from one side of the street to the other and you get a facefull of cobweb on the walk to the shop in the morning! Your dahlias are still going strong and the red one is on my wish list when the garden gets done (if ever!) as I love the combination of dark foliage with the bright red flowers! Have a terrific Thursday and enjoy the sunshine whilst it lasts! Hugs, Lisa x
